Compare Umrah packages side by side in your browser

Packages from Morocco rarely line up. One quotes a price for a room of four, another for a double room, a third adds nights in Madinah and says nothing about the flight. At that point the cheapest-looking package may simply be a shorter or more crowded trip. The tool below sets them on one table so you can see what you are actually comparing.

Two things stay outside any calculation. The first is who sells each package, and whether the company name and licence type are written on it. The second is whether the dates, the hotel and the room suit the person who will travel, especially an older parent. Those are family decisions, not sums.

How do you use it?

Keep the packages in front of you, on paper or on screen, and fill in one column per package.

Line by line

  1. Give each package a name you will recognise, such as the seller's name or the date of the message.
  2. Copy the price per person exactly as written, and the number of people per room that price refers to.
  3. Enter the nights in Makkah and the nights in Madinah. If the package only talks in days, count the nights yourself or leave the box empty.
  4. Copy the hotel names and the stated distances in the package's own words, without rounding or translating them.
  5. For each service, choose one of three states: written as included, written as excluded, or not written. Something promised on the phone but not written stays “not written”.
  6. If you like, enter how many people in your family are travelling, and the tool adds the total for the group.
  7. Press “Compare”, then “Print the result” if you want to take the sheet to the agency or send it to a brother or sister.

Not sure where a line hides in your package? Reading an Umrah package line by line shows where each piece of information usually sits, and the question to ask when it is missing.

How do you read the result?

The table sets your packages column by column. Four rows deserve your attention first.

Price per person is the figure you copied, in dirhams. On its own it says little, because it depends on the room and the length of the stay.

Price per night per person is the price per person divided by the total nights in both cities. This is the row that lets you compare a short stay with a longer one. If it shows “cannot be worked out”, the price or the nights are missing from the package, and the answer has to come from the seller.

Nights in Makkah and in Madinah show how each package splits the stay. Two packages with the same total can divide it very differently, and the tool says so under the table. Which split suits your family is your call; the tool does not prefer one.

Stated distance is shown in the words each seller chose. The tool does not turn it into walking minutes, because packages do not all measure distance the same way, and nobody has published how they do it.

Under the table, what the package does not say collects every empty box and every service left as “not written”, package by package. That is your list of questions. Send it to the seller in one message and ask for a written reply. To know what each service line should state, see what an Umrah package includes, and what it often leaves out.

A “not written” box does not mean the service is missing. It means the package has not committed to it in writing yet.

What does the tool not do?

It gives no score and ranks no package. There is no “best package” that can be calculated, because the room, the dates and the age and health of a parent weigh differently in every family. It rates no agency and does not check whether a seller holds a licence. It knows no market price and will not tell you whether an amount is “normal” or high.

It does one thing: it puts your own figures and your packages' own words side by side, on the same basis. If one package comes out far cheaper than the others once the sums are done, that is not a verdict. It is a reason to read what it leaves out, and who sells it, before paying anything. The signs worth stopping for are gathered in Umrah package red flags.

Does anything leave your device?

No. The calculation runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is sent, to us or to anyone else: no account, no cookie, no recording. If you close or reload the page, everything is wiped.

To keep the result, print it or save it as a PDF from the print window of your phone or computer. The tool calls no outside service and contains no price and no rule. The figures it shows are yours, and only yours.
